Welcome to GPPLL.com
The official website of Grosse Pointe Park Little League

Grosse Pointe Park Little League has been
providing an enjoyable baseball experience to the youth in our community since 1954!

Parent Party CHANGED TO FRIDAY MAY 2nd, 2014 Tompkins Center-moved up a week due to booking conflict. (Now night prior to Opening Day)

The good news-Tompkins Center open for team Pre-Parade parties from 430-700pm. Bring team and materials to decorate posters inside at tables, decorate trucks in parking lot. And now you have an open "date night" for the night before Mother's Day!

Theme: 1950's style "Homecoming" celebrating 60 years of GPPLL baseball and, introducing GPPLL Softball!

Annual GPPLL Meeting at 7:30pm.
Parent Party at 8pm until midnight. Looking at a B B Q eats.

GPPLL Opening Day Parade the next morning-line up on Somerset at 10:15am-starts at 11am and ends at Defer/Getz Field for Opening Day ceremony.

Bad news-your house does not have to be cleaned for "poster party"

>> More details to follow-questions? Feel free to call me 313 402-8770. Any/all welcome to help in any way-you can call or email me.

I apologize for any problems/inconvenience the date change may have caused you.

Keeping Your Children Safe
April 13, 2012

Little League Parents and Volunteers:

With the safety of the players and all Little League volunteers at the top of our list, Little League International is providing information for parents on keeping children safe from sexual abuse predators.

With many leagues already underway and some others starting in the coming weeks, the story, "Proactive Parenting: Use These tips to Help Prevent Children from ever Being Abused," provides 10 tips to keep your children safe by Jill Starishevsky, a prosecutor of child abuse and sex crimes in New York City.

A link to the story is available, at: http://www.littleleague.org/media/newsarchive/2012/Jan-Apr/ProactiveParenting-HelpPreventChildrenFromBeingAbused.htm. More information is available on the Little League website on reporting sexual abuse, at: http://www.littleleague.org/learn/programs/childprotection/ReportingChildAbuse.htm.
